Run A Marathon Barefoot?! Find Out How You Can Put 1000 Pairs of Shoes on Kids

I can't even imagine running a marathon. Period. But a marathon barefoot is beyond my comprehension or desire.  There is one brave Newport Beach guy that will be doing it to put 1000 pairs of shoes on kids in need.

Casey Cochran from the Green Guide Network will be running the Santa Barbara marathon barefoot  on December 6.  To support his goals all you have to do is buy a pair of TOMS shoes and they will give a pair to a child in need. In order to give Casey the credit for the 1000 pairs of shoes he is trying to raise, go to http://www.greenguidenetwork.com/ and click on the TOMS logo in the upper right.  It will give you the link that you need to buy the shoes.

Newport Beach Casey Cochran To Run the SB Marathon Barefoot For Shoes

Newport Beach resident Casey Cochran who is the founder of the Green Guide Network, will be running the Santa Barbara Marathon barefoot! Why would you put yourself in so much pain - for a good cause of course! He is raising money for kids who need shoes. We think it is such a great cause that we will post information about the charity, etc. when we know more.
